Department of Anesthesiology
Anaesthesiologists are peri-operative physicians which includes pre-op, intra-op and post-operative responsibility of the patient. We are needed in all surgical branches (surgery, orthopaedics, OBG etc.) and ensure the delivery of anesthesia safely in almost all health care settings (0.T, Emergency wards, radiology suites) and ensure respiratory care and mechanical ventilation for post op cases as well as other critically ill patients in ICU under guidance of Professor and HOD, Dr. Ravi R. Preparation of patients for emergency surgery and difficult airway as well as pain management are the critical skills that our post graduates are trained to employ.
