Department of Orthopaedics
J. J. M. Medical College was started in the year 1965. Postgraduate diploma and degree courses were started in the year 1975 and 1978 respectively. Chigateri District General Hospital and Bapuji Hospital Davangere are attached to J. J. M. Medical College for training the P.G. Degree students. There are 80 beds at C. G. Hospital and 120 beds in Bapuji Hospital. Both the hospitals have adequate infrastructure facilities for P.G. training.
The M.S Degree awarded by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences is recognized by MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA.
Hospitals attached to this College are catering the health care needs of people of Davangere District and Neighboring Districts.
Fully qualified experienced, M.C.I. & Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences recognized faculty members are working in the department and training both Postgraduates and Undergraduates.
