You might have entered this college by choice, by force or accidentally. Resolve these issues fast and move ahead.
Attendance in classes, practical, dissection, other teaching programs, internal assessments and clinical teaching in wards is compulsory. Practical and dissection not be repeated if missed.
If you are unable to attend the classes, take prior permission from the authorities citing the reason and the period of absence.
Poor attendance and performance in internal assessment will not entitle you to appear for University esams. Passingseparately in practical is mandatory.
Do not create any disturbance in any teaching programs.
As syllabus is vast, study right from the beginning by making a workable time table and avoid memorizing. Understand concepts and express them in your own words. Clarify your doubts then and there by referring to books and by classmates, seniors and teachers.
Revisions and discussions help you to remember better.
Errors while performing on stage can be minimized by adequate prepration, rehearsal and repeated performance. Actively participate in tutorials and other academic discussions.
Do not avoid teachers. They should be familiar with you, able to recognize you by name preferably.
Maintain punctuality and discipline.Keep your practical records and othr assignments up to date and submit them on time.
Handle labs equipment and library books with due care.
Work hard now so that you can enjoy later. Otherwise you will have to work hard when you should be enjoying.
Students should have minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practical separately to appear for all 3 internal exams. Any shortage in attendance will be viewed strictly.
